Will Ghana make history tonight?

With this afternoon shocking elimination of Brazil at the mercy of the Dutch national team which ended 2-1 thanks to a Julio Cesar mistakes and Wesley Sneijder goal.

Tonight is a different game as Ghana the only African team left in the competition is trying to get into the record book as the only African team to make it to the semis.

As a Europeen i am meant to support holland but i have a love for Robinho and co and am very angry at their exit soo hopefully Ghana will do us good and win this game. This time time the score doesn’t matter. It’s all about Ghana reaching the semis and that will be a reward already. This Ghanaian team has already won the junior world cup of football and are in contention for this year senior finals.

Ghanaian top scorer Asamoah Gyan (picture) will be in the center of attack again and hopefully will do us good by interprating his goal celebration.

With Uruguyan defense very stable it will be a difficult task for Ghana to penetrate. Their defense has conceded only one goal so far this competition and look very settle but anything can happen in football and Brazil is the top example.

In contrast Uruguay’s team can unsettled defense very rapidly with the likes of Suarez (35 goals this year with Ajax) and Diego Forlan of Athletico Madrid. They are the player Ghana should watch carefully. Everyone here in France supports Ghana, all Africa support Ghana maybe not the Afrikaans. But for what it’s worth Ghana have the advantage on the pitch in terms of support and i am sure that some Uruguyans will turn against their team because they will simply feel lonely.

Personally i wish Ghana all the best and i am Ghanaian tonight just for info :). The black star will pull it and just like Barack Obama election in the State i will say i was here and i saw Ghana make history. YES WE CAN

Uruguay 1-2 Ghana

Thanks for following me and see you in the next edition C.D 😉
