Who will make the difference tonight? Spain or Portugal?

Spain vs Portugal one of the biggest game of this year world cup of football. Spain so far have been playing strangely in the competition with a 1-0 lost against Switzerland and an unconvincingly victory over Chile.

Tonight’s game will be decisive as it will show the true talent of Vicente Del Bosque. It’s easy to inherit from talented players and put in great performance but great managers are recognized by their achievement and Del Bosque will be able to claim it right the final if they do go so far in the competition.

The Spanish victory will be decided by the talent of Xavi, Iniesta, Villa, Torres “el nino” and Cesc Fabregas. Hopefully the right combination will be used tonight but i questioned Del Bosque tactics.

Portugal’s team in the contrary have been able to beat Spain 13 times out of the 15 times they met so we are in for a surprise tonight even if i favor more Spain but wouldn’t mind Portugal to win with a Cristiano Ronaldo free kick or long shot :).

On paper Spain is better than Portugal by long margin and i hope they put this paper analysis right on the pitch as well. With the absence of Nani the Manchester United player and ex colleague of Cristiano Ronaldo, Spain have a better chance on Portugal.

My prognostic on this game is 3-1 to Spain at least otherwise a deserved victory from them. Oops the game has started bye. 🙂 Already a first alert from Fernando Torres in the First minute.

Thanks for reading see you in the next edition. Vamos Spain 🙂
